Wendy Cody

Owner/Indoor Cycling/HIIT/Weight Loss Coach

Wendy Cody was born and raised in Rochester, NY. She graduated with a degree in Biology from the University of Rochester in 1998, and then with a degree in Physician Assistant studies at D’Youville college in Buffalo, NY in 2002. She is currently practicing as a physician assistant in Spencerport, NY. She is a lifelong runner, competing in many local races including the Rochester Marathon. Wendy is a certified personal trainer and has successfully incorporated strength training and yoga into her training schedule. She plans to use her diverse knowledge in health and fitness to advise and train members of Fit Club.

HIIT/Boot Camp/Body Sculpting/Kettbell

Andrew Cappadonia graduated from Hornell High school in 2014 and was a multi sport athkete. He played soccer, basketball, golf, ran track, and football, winning a state championship in 2011 and returned to the state championship in 2012 but fell short. Andrew is going into his senior year at The College at Brockport, with a dual major in Exercise Science and Kinesiology. He should be a certificates personal trainer by the beginning of June and hopes to get his certification as a Performance Enhancement specialist shortly after. When he graduates from Brockport he would like to be a strength and conditioning coach at a college and work with high school athletes also. He hopes to bring his athletic background and growing knowledge of the field to fitclub and looks forward to meeting everyone.

My name is Aimee Gonzalez, and I have been an avid runner and fan of all things fitness for the last 7+ years. What began as an attempt to tone up and get into shape, slowly became a daily joy of mine.
I am a mother to two young kids, who also inspire me to stay in shape and work towards a healthy lifestyle. My husband is a Professor in the field, so we truly are a family that works out together, and focuses on our overall well being.
I love sharing my passion, energy, and overall life enthusiasm with others, and look forward to working with you!

Yoga/Pilates

Yoga has been a part of my life ever since I was about 12 years old. This helps me apply yoga principles and attitudes on and off the mat in everyday off. It guides me in being more mindful and present in whatever surfaces in life.
Yoga to me is generating a space free from obstacles in your own body to live. My intention is to help others find this sense of freedom in their own bodies with the practice of yoga.
I completed my 200HR Yoga Teacher Training through Breathe Yoga in 2014. Nevertheless, I do envision myself as an everlasting student learning this practice because it’s continually evolving.
I strive to maintain a class that’s able to hit all levels of ability with the support of appropriate alignment cues to be able to experience openness and space in one’s body. The specific style of yoga being taught is a Vinyasa Flow which connects movement with every breath to construct a potent interconnectedness with mind and body aiming to break down mental boundary barriers.
I am hopeful that you step off the yoga mat feeling revitalized and more in sync with body and mind connections.

Tayler is our newest cycle instructor to join the team at The Studio powered by The Fit Club 24/7! Tayler is very active and enjoys playing sports with her friends on the weekends and practicing Yoga has become a new passion of hers. She graduated from SUNY Brockport, works full time at Paychex Inc. and spends her time at home with her puppy Blue going for walks around the neighborhood! She is very excited to join our team and looks forward to meeting all of you!

  • Indoor Cycling

    We use Spivi Indoor Cycling software.  Our system creates a virtual riding experience on our movie screen.  You will see you and your classmates riding together.  Receive instant feedback(HR, cadence, distance, RPMs etc.).  At the end of each class you are instantly emailed your statistics.

  • Yoga

    Yoga is a Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline, a part of which, including breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, is widely practiced for health and relaxation.

    We offer many variations of Yoga.

  • HIIT

    HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.

  • Boot Camp

    Our Boot Camp classes are a type of group physical training program conducted by our instructors that build strength and fitness through a variety of intense group intervals.

  • TRX

    Born in the Navy SEALs, Suspension Training bodyweight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously.

  • Pilates

    Pilates is similar to yoga but emphasizes your body’s core the abdomen, obliques, lower back, inner and outer thigh, butt, and so on. For this reason, Pilates develops much of what exercisers need — strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, coordination, balance, and good posture.

  • HIIT and Harmony

    The first thirty minutes of this class is a HIIT class, focusing on increasing our cardio endurance, strength, agility and balance. This class uses kickboxing moves, timed interval training, choreographed sequences, strength training, & core and balance work. Followed by 30 minutes of Yoga”Harmony”, where we will be focusing on breathwork and going within, while increasing our flexibility and balance, ending with a final relaxation. It’s the Yin and Yang of workouts that will give you a total body workout that is good for the mind, body, and spirit! Modifications will be given for all exercises! All Levels Are Welcome!

  • Cardio Kickboxing

    Cardio kickboxing is a group fitness class that combines martial arts techniques with fast-paced cardio. This high-energy workout challenges the beginner and elite athlete alike. Build stamina, improve coordination and flexibility, and burn calories as you build lean muscle with this fun and challenging workout.
